I paint what I feel — that's why the styles differ
RADAMIG is a Russian expressionist artist and a master of textured painting. My creative method is built on a deep exploration of colour, emotional expression, and bold work with the material. Using impasto and the palette knife, I turn every canvas into a three-dimensional space pulsing with energy.
My professional path began with a strong academic and applied foundation. I graduated from an Art and Industry Gymnasium, where I mastered the finer points of craft and composition, and went on to study at the Rostov Architectural Institute. That architectural background shaped my particular sense of space, scale, and the architectonics of the canvas — today it lets me balance confidently at the meeting point of figurative art and pure abstraction.
An active exhibition life confirms the demand for this recognisable style — in traditional museum spaces as well as on contemporary online platforms.
The Krasnye Gorki Museum of Contemporary Art has become an important venue for presenting my key conceptual cycles: shows within the large-scale group exhibition “Flower Paradise” and the vivid project “Laughter and Love Will Save the World”, underlining the life-affirming philosophy of my art.
The online exhibition “I Feel Colour” is a project whose very title became a manifesto of my work, conveying a perception of the world through the prism of pure colouristic energy.
The Sirius art and exhibition centre — regular participation in its group shows keeps me at the forefront of the contemporary art process, in constant dialogue with colleagues and viewers.
My works are visual poetry of the elements, nature, and human feelings. The signature manner is easy to recognise by its pastose, sculptural strokes building a complex relief on the canvas surface. Boldly colliding dramatic monochrome planes with explosive, saturated colour accents, I make light physically play across the surface of the paintings, turning every landscape or still life into a living, breathing reflection of the moment.
“I do not aim to copy reality photographically. My goal is to capture its energy, its light, and that elusive atmospheric mood that makes the heart beat faster.”

Radmila + Mitya
Radmila paints; her husband Mitya is a “mindful techie” who makes meditations and apps. One of them is ArtScanner: it helps artists photograph their work professionally with a phone — no glare, true colour — and “try it on” a wall. A family story where art and technology help each other.
